After the module studying a student is to

know: main stages of world and native philosophy development; significance of main philosophical concepts and categories; modern approaches to the problem of existence and consciousness; kinds, levels and forms of cognition; main principles of philosophical anthropology; philosophical concepts of nature and religion; organizing forms of social being

be able: to analyze problems of contemporary life using philosophical concepts and categories; to interpret original texts; to prove own philosophical position

Philosophy as a specific type of knowledge. Philosophy of Ancient World, Middle Ages, Renaissance. German classical philosophy. Philosophy of 19th and 20th centuries. Ukrainian Philosophy. The problem of existence and consciousness. Human being. Cognition theory. Philosophy of history. Philosophy of religion. Philosophy of society. Philosophy of culture
