After the module studying a student is to

know: didactic principles of technical means’ using; classification of modern technical educational means; purpose and place of technical educational means in educational process; structure, operational principle, purpose of all kinds and types of school devices; operational rules of technical means and software;

be able: to use modern technical means in educational process; to make up presentations, personal web sites, electronic publications; to produce video clips of lessons and extracurricular activity

Didactic principles and possibility of pupil mental abilities’ intensification by technical educational means. Educational possibilities of technical educational means. Technical means and modern methods of education. Psychological peculiarities of technical means’ using in educational process. Classification of technical educational means. Computer as a modern means of information processing. Outlooks of data communication technologies. Multimedia device. Peripherals in education. Class technical complexes. Teacher’s training for using technical means in educational process. General rules of safe practice. First aid against electric shock. Preventive fire-fighting regulations. Sanitation norms of technical educational means’ usage
